About Trae Tay

Trae Tay (b. 1997 in Philadelphia, Pa) is an African American fine artist, audio engineer and photographer based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With the use of his visual works along with his background in film & video and music production, it is his intention to create a personal and immersive experience.

Artist Statement

The simplicity and straightforwardness of his works make the message clear and impactful. Addressing themes such as racism, Afro-American Culture, and love in its many forms. Trae uses painting, drawing, photography, and literature to shine a light on these topics, which are often overlooked.
